GMC Motorhomes were built in Pontiac, Michigan and were revolutionary in design. Using front-wheel drive, GM eliminated the need for a driveshaft and rear differential and solid axles that can be found on most motorhomes.
The motorhome’s low profiles was also appealing to buyers, along with luxury features and a well-built motor. In all, almost 13,000 GMC Motorhomes were built during its short life span.
