The Class A Luxury Motor Homes
Gulf Stream is one of the best and largest manufacturers of recreational vehicles, also known as RV’s. Their top of the line models are their Class A Luxury Motor Homes; this Gulf Stream RV is the height of luxury.
With these RV's, you can get them with a gas or diesel engine, as they are a self-contained unit. In terms of space, whichever Gulf Stream RV you choose has a fairly basic layout: a master bedroom in the back, then the bathroom, a kitchen area and then a living / secondary sleeping area; and of course they have the driving area up at the front.
Also, they all feature wall sections that slide out to maximize the living space. These are operated hydraulically for both ease and safety. Of course, these Gulf Stream RV's also cost quite a bit. However if you are looking for something a bit more modest, the company has other models available.
The Class C Motor Home
This Gulf Stream RV is able to sleep up to six and have a full bath and kitchen area. The overall living space is smaller, but still quite comfortable. They have a couch and dinette that are roomy and convert to excellent sleep areas.
Also, some of them feature the room extensions to provide just that added bit of living space to make your vacation all the better. The chief difference between the Class C Gulf Stream RV and the Class A has to do with the cab; in the C, it is separate from the living space.
This can have its pluses and minuses. Sometimes, the driver prefers to be away from everyone, as it can make it easier for them to focus on the road. Other people, they like feeling a part of the family.
The 5th Wheel
Finally, Gulf Stream RV has what are known as the 5th wheel RV's. These are essentially the large campers: their Ameri-Lite, Prairie Schooner, StreamLite, and Track & Trail models.
As they are all trailers, the drivers need to know what they are doing and you want a vehicle powerful enough to pull the load. Although they are trailers, these models also feature the extended living space seen in the more expensive Gulf Stream RV's.
